I've worked with some major stunt people, but in the end it's Keith's lessons that made me the success I am today.' Danny Ray Cooke, Stunt Artist/Co-ordinator, USA |

Keith has over twenty years of experience as a fight director, having originally trained under John Waller, on whose system of "reality first, theatricality second" he still bases his work. Keith says: 'More than anything, I try to bring truth to fight direction - truth of character, physicality and technique. Performance without truth lacks resonance; it leaves no mark on the actor or the audience. Good actors spend their lives striving for truth, and fight directors should do the same.' His skill at demonstrating Medieval European martial arts has taken him to many major heritage sites including Japan's revered Nikko Toshogu shrine, Great Britain's legendary Tower of London and America's unique Higgins Armory Museum, located in Worcester, Massachussetts. Keith has also appeared as a fighter and fight director in many film and TV productions, including "Time after Time" for EuroDisney Paris, "The Master", "Arms in Action", and "Warrior Challenge". His book, "Sword Fighting - A Manual for Actors and Directors", is a standard work on the subject.
