'From a one line suggestion, Keith turned up for the audition with a monologue that absolutely nailed the character, accent and all.' Samuel Miller, director |
|
Keith trained as an actor at London's renowned Arts Educational School, studying both classical and modern acting styles. Having begun his career in educational theatre, he was invited to join the creative team of Britain's award-winning Royal Armouries Museum to play a major role in spearheading its revolutionary theatre/film/TV initiative. During his ten year stint he gave more than 7,000 performances live on stage - including, on one memorable occasion, fighting a duel in full Medieval plate armour before HM Queen Elizabeth II of England. In the same period he appeared in several major documentaries, as well as gaining roles in popular shows such as "Heartbeat", "Emmerdale", and "Touch of Frost". In 2005 he gave up the Museum to concentrate on mainstream acting and recently spent a year in Los Angeles studying with several of Hollywood's most respected acting teachers. Keith is a member of British Actors Equity, the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
